Terms and conditions
General:
- Cape Town Fish Market reserves the right to change the benefits, terms and conditions at any time, with reasonable notification which will be recorded on our website and such notice period will apply from date of such publication.
- At our discretion, we reserve the right to terminate membership without prior notice.
- Only the cardholder can earn points on each bill. Only one card may accrue per bill.
- Points and/or vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or used to tip the waitron or to buy gift vouchers.
- This card or membership is not transferable.
- Points and benefits apply when ordering take aways.
- Points can be accumulated from 1 January through to 31 December of each year and may be redeemed at any time during this period. If not redeemed, points will expire on 28 February three years later i.e.: points expiring on 28 February 2013 = points accumulated in 2009.
- All points and vouchers not used within 3 years of acquiring them will expire.
- An Accrue card can be bought at any branch for R25 including VAT.
- A fee of R25 including VAT will be charged for the replacement of lost card.
- Benefits, accumulation and redemption of points are only valid on presentation of the card.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a membership without notice although such suspension or termination shall not be effected without appropriate justification.
- Points and vouchers may only be redeemed by the registered holder of the card.
- Use of this card is subject to our terms and conditions.
- Any dispute in relation to any aspect of the program will be determined by any director of Cape Town Fish Market or his nominee, whose decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Members shall have no claims whatsoever against Cape Town Fish Market (or any of its franchisees) for any damages incurred as a result of their participation in the program.
- The programme is subject to any peremptory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (as amended) (including any regulations framed thereunder) applicable to this programme. Any such applicable provisions shall be deemed to be incorporated by reference therein.
Tier system:
- Blue tier: Spend any amount and earn 3.5% in points to use as a discount on future bills. This means, for every R100 that the member spends at Cape Town Fish Market, they will earn R3.50 in points to use as discount on future meals.
- Silver tier: Spend R12 000 from 1 March – 28 February to qualify for the silver tier. When a member reaches this spend at any time during this period, the member will start earning 7% on each transaction thereafter. This means, for every R100 that the member spends at Cape Town Fish Market, they will earn R7.00 in points to use as discount on future meals. This spend must be maintained ever year to continue to earn 7%. If not, the member will go back to earning 3.5% (blue status) again.
- Platinum: Spend R36 000 from 1 March – 28 February to qualify for the platinum tier. When a member reaches this spend at any time during this period, the member will start earning 10% on each transaction thereafter. This means, for every R100 that the member spends at Cape Town Fish Market, they will earn R10.00 in points to use as discount on future meals. When a member reaches this spend at any time this period, they will start earning 10% on each transaction. This spend must be maintained ever year to continue to earn 10%. If not, the member will go back to earning 7% or 3.5% (blue status) again, depending on their overall spend during this period.
- The Maxiclub system will upgrade each member automatically when they qualify.
Birthday Voucher:
- Your birthday voucher is valid on your next visit, after obtaining your card and with proof of identification.
- Your birthday voucher can be redeemed once during the month of your birthday.
25% Off:
- Members get 25% discount on all food on the menu between 4pm and 6pm daily.
- This benefit is not valid in conjunction with any other promotions or special offers.
- To qualify for the discount, items must be rung up on the till system by the waiter between 4pm and 6pm.
- No take-aways. All meals must be eaten on the premises.
- At 6pm the till system (controlled by head office) will revert to regular prices.
How to accrue your points:
- On arrival, place your card on the table, in order to alert the waiter that you are an Accrue Card member.
- Hand your card to your waitron when paying your bill.
- Your waitron will swipe your card through the point of sale.
- You will then receive a printed sheet verifying your transaction.
How to redeem your points:
- Approximately after 7 days of having accumulated your points, they are yours to spend.
- Hand your card to your waitron when paying your bill and indicate the number of points you want to redeem against that particular transaction.
- You can update your details and obtain a statement of all your transactions and your balance (number of points) on the website by clicking here OR calling us on 083 400 200 5 OR in-store.
- Your points on a specific transaction will only reflect on our system in approximately 7 days.
